Our Mission
OCBA is dedicated to fostering a healthy setting for commercial endeavors and maximizing opportunities for business by advocating for the concerns of its member businesses and providing a hub for networking and trade.
Networking
OCBA provides a forum for member businesses to find and establish collaboration opportunities amongst themselves. In addiction, OCBA is dedicated to working with other business associations to provide networking opportunities between their respective members.
Business Development
OCBA is enthusiastic about sharing industry relevant knowledge and insights to help local businesses thrive with the changing times. Proudly offering local seminars and workshops, OCBA strives to bring in a large variety of experts and industry veterans to aid businesses from all backgrounds take on the ever changing domestic and global markets.
Trade Delegations
Our team at OCBA has been a proud organizer of trade missions to Hong Kong, mainland China and other key locations for the purpose of displaying the potential of Canadian businesses to key industries. OCBA is greatly honored to have introduced our member businesses to potential buyers, investors, officials and trading partners .
Advacocy
As part of our mission, OCBA believes in giving a voice to small local businesses. By unifying our member businesses under one association, we hope to encourage conversation about the struggle they may be facing and amplify their voice in society.
